The traditional byeolseo that existed during the Joseon Dynasty were gardens created close to the main residence, embodying nature and philosophy. Hanok Essay Nuha was designed based on the imagination and interpretation of implementing the concept of byeolseo in a modern urban setting. Through this modern byeolseo, we hoped to provide time for people to focus on the things they had postponed in life and to recharge. The garden, inspired by Inwangsan and Suseong-dong Valley, is intended to be an urban byeolseo where guests can enjoy and reflect.
Take a leisurely stroll through the small garden, sit still on the rocks, and enjoy nature and music.
On the side table, you'll find a book and a pencil. Open it, write your reflections, and read the thoughts of others who have visited before you.
When the host raises a glass in return to the guest, it is called su (酬), and when the guest offers the glass back to the host, it is jak (酢). Pass the tea back and forth and enjoy your time together.
