At Beppu's large public baths, there are open-air baths and indoor baths where you can soak while gazing out at the garden with seasonal flowers and autumn leaves.

카이 벳푸(Kai-Beppu)가 2021년 7월 일본 최고의 온천 도시로 잘 알려진 오이타현 벳푸 온천에 오픈했다. '드라마틱한 온천 마을'이 컨셉인 카이 벳푸는 세계적으로 유명한 건축가 쿠마 켄고가 설계 및 디자인을 담당했으며 건물 전체를 하나의 온천 마을로 표현하고 있다. 한 걸음 스테이에 들어서면 일본 전통 종이의 초롱불이 비추는 돌길과 기념품 가게, 야시장을 이미지화한 공간 등 번화한 벳푸 온천 마을이 펼쳐져 있다. 또한 모든 객실에서는 눈 앞에 펼쳐진 벳푸만(Beppu bay)을 바라볼 수 있어 시간대에 따라 아름답게 색이 변하는 하늘과 바다를 바라볼 수 있다. 객실에서 보이는 경치와 스테이 전체의 정경이 드라마틱하게 변화하는 모습을 즐길 수 있는 것이 큰 매력이다.

Kai Beppu opened in July 2021 in Beppu Onsen, Oita Prefecture, which is well-known as Japan's premier hot spring town. KAI Beppu, whose concept is a "dramatic hot spring town," was created and designed by world-renowned architect Kengo Kuma, and the entire building is expressive of the locality it finds itself in. When you step into the place, you will see the bustling Beppu Onsen town spreading out, with a stone path illuminated by Japanese paper lanterns, a souvenir shop, and a space inspired by a night market. In addition, all rooms have a view of Beppu Bay sprawling out in front of you, so you can see the sky and beautifully changing colors of the sea depending on the time of day. It is a great attraction to be able to enjoy the dramatic change between the view from the guest room and the view of the entire stay.

70개의 모든 객실은 벳푸만이 한눈에 바라볼 수 있는 오션뷰이다. 창문에는 벳푸만을 그림처럼 바라볼 수 있는 넓은 창이 있다. 넓은 창은 방과 눈앞에 펼쳐지 만(bay)의 경계선을 느끼지 못하게 하는 구조로 마치 천공에 떠 있는 듯한 일체감을 준다. 다양한 객실 타입이 준비되어 있으며 특별실의 벽지는 벳푸의 관광명소 '피의 연못 지옥(血の池地獄)'의 붉은색을 이미지화한 '감물색(柿渋色)'으로 통일되어 있다. 이외에도 고층에는 노천탕이 있는 객실도 있다. 느긋하게 몸을 담그며 아침 햇살, 혹은 밤하늘을 바라보는 우아한 체험을 해보길 바란다.

All 70 guest rooms have an ocean view overlooking Beppu Bay. There is a wide window from the window where you can see Beppu Bay like a picture.
