There is a house in a village called Jocheon-ri, on the island of Jeju, where a couple of natives live. The history of this house goes back for 4 generations from the old days when their grandparents lived here. The husband in the couple was born and grew up here, met his wife here, and now lives here with his 4 children.
In order to keep this on from generation to generation, the couple purchased the house next to it and have transformed both to make "Analog House". The renovations on this property only accentuated the impressive traces of time, such as the gorgeous structure beneath the roof as well as the door frames, all of which were left intact with some colorful elements added. I want this house to be the most authentic experience of a Jeju familial home possible for someone who is traveling to Jeju. Our house and "Analog House" are connected in a ‘ㄱ’ shape so we kindly invite you. Would you be my family's neighbor today?
A sliding door with a well-preserved trussed roof structure reminds us of grandmother's old house. We left the details as much as we can, and made colorful variations with exposed concrete and basalt walls.
Thanks to high ceilings, you can feel the openness. Especially, under the double-decker bedroom in the House B, an Irish kitchen and lounge all unfold in a single view.
A simple tea room, a cozy lounge sofa, and a spacious wooden table. I want you to sit around together and have a great time.
The address of Analog House is 30-2 Jocheon 7-gil, Jocheon-eup, Jeju-do. It is about 17km 45 minutes from Jeju International Airport.
