여름 햇살 아래 구옥이 품은 빈티지

강원도 강릉시 교동에는 여름이 잔잔하게 묵어가는 집이 있습니다. 머무르는 이가 별장에 온 것처럼 편한 쉼을 누렸으면 하는 마음을 담아 별장을 뜻하는 스페인어 Casa de Verano를 차용하였습니다. 이를 직역하면 ‘여름의 집’이라는 뜻을 가집니다. 호스트는 50년 된 구옥의 시간과 스테이의 매력을 조화롭게 표현하기 위하여 오래된 대들보를 남기고 세월을 거친 소품들을 모아 여름의 집을 완성하였습니다.

There is a house in Gangneung-si Gangwon-do where summer placidly stays. The name  Casa de Verano is borrowed from the Spanish word that means summer house, embracing the wish that all guests could seek comfort here like they’re in a summer house. When directly translated, it means ‘The house of summer’. In order to harmoniously express the 50 years of the old house and charm of the stay, the host saved the old girder, collected the antique props and finished Casa de Verano. 

내부의 창문들은 마당을 마주합니다. 머무르는 동안 여름의 풍경을 눈에 담을 수 있도록 하기 위함 입니다. 바람의 흐름에 따라 움직이는 화초의 모습을 바라보세요. 고요한 장소에서 움직이는 풀의 소리는 우리의 마음을 살며시 다독입니다. 여름이 주는 위로를 받고 싶다면 교동에 자리한 별장으로 떠나는 것은 어떨까요.

The indoor windows face the yard so that the guests can admire the summer scenery during their stay. Take a look at the plant that moves along the flow of the wind. The sound of grass moving in silence softly consoles us. If you want to feel the comfort of summer, come visit the summer house in Gyo-dong.

Refund policy

- Check-in is at 3:30pm and check-out is at 11 am.
- Please observe the check-out time for room set-up purposes.
- Early check-in/late check-out are not available due to cleaning and maintenance time.
- No smoking, including e-cigarettes, in all areas of the property. Violations will result in immediate eviction and additional cleaning fees.
- Compensation fee will be charged in case of damage, removal, or loss of facilities and equipment.
- Commercial photography or video shooting without prior agreement is not allowed.
