클라우드나인

이탈리아 중세시대 작가 단테 알리기에리의 작품인 신곡에 영감을 받아 호스트는 경주 천북면에 작은 천국을 지었습니다. 작품 속 주인공은 연옥의 마지막 9번째 하늘 아래에서 천국을 목전에 두어 기대와 행복감에 벅차오릅니다. 신곡의 주인공과 같이 ‘클라우드나인’은 여행에서 머무름을 가장 행복한 순간으로 만듭니다. 하얀 대문과 마당을 지나면 하늘색 수면 위 징검다리를 마주합니다. 징검다리를 건널 때는 연옥을 지나는 주인공의 기분이 살며시 감돕니다. 

Inspired by the new song by Italian medieval writer Dante Alighieri, the host built a little paradise in Cheonbuk-myeon, Gyeongju. The protagonist in the work is filled with anticipation and euphoria as he faces heaven under the ninth and last sky of purgatory. Like the main character of the new song, ‘Cloud Nine’ makes your stay on your trip the happiest moment. After passing through the white gate and yard, you will see a stepping stone over the sky blue water. When crossing the stepping stone, the feeling of the main character passing through purgatory creeps in.

정적인 쉼의 요소가 가득한 공간이지만 이곳에서 보내는 하루는 무척이나 빠르게 흐릅니다. 거실에 앉아 낮에는 물을, 밤에는 불을 보며 사색의 시간을 보냅니다. 하루의 끝에는 침실에서 영화를 보는 것으로 마무리하여도 좋겠습니다. 조용히 떠다니는 구름과 같은 쉼은 우리의 여행에 편안함을 가져다줍니다.

Cloud Nine

- Check-in is 3 pm, check-out is 11 am.
- Early check-in/late check-out are not available due to cleaning and maintenance time.
- After check-in, we will inform you of the password.
- Minors cannot stay without a guardian (legal representative).
- No smoking in any areas other than the designated smoking area. Special cleaning fee is charged in case of violation.
- Compensation fee will be charged in case of loss or damage to bedding, equipment, facilities etc.
- Commercial photos and videos that have not been agreed upon (including commercials, product photos, shopping malls, and social media markets) and drone photography are not allowed.

- Grill, gridiron, and tableware for barbecue are prepared.
- Additional 30,000 KRW is charged when selected in Option. Please request as an option when making the reservation.

- Picnic items are available for rent without charge for you to enjoy picnic in the garden.
