'그슬' means 'fall' in Jeju dialect. Just as summer gives way to fall, just as things ripen only after enduring intense times, the host hoped that here, one could cool down from the heat of daily life and gracefully immerse in the moment. The atmosphere of the space, like the meaning contained in the name, harmonizes well with autumn. Every landscape surrounding this place, such as the small wetland visited by migratory birds, the red wooden roof pieces, the rough wind of the windmill village, and the blue carrot field right before harvest, becomes most beautiful in autumn. However, the host hopes you feel that enjoying music, tea, and precious people now is as beautiful as any autumn scenery, more so than ever.

The identity and most prominent architectural feature of '그슬' is its roof. The roof, flowing with graceful curves, boldly reveals a sense of freedom and artistic expression. The band of windows that extends beneath the roof gives the impression as if the roof is floating effortlessly. The rooms are designed with two distinct spaces: 'Day,' which connects to the outside, and 'Night,' which focuses on the interior. 'Day' separates the lounge and bedroom spaces based on the courtyard. When you open the folding doors of the lounge, it connects to the indoor-outdoor deck, creating a spacious veranda. Break down the boundaries, feel the openness, and enjoy a light cup of tea. In the outdoor garden, there's a prepared space with a jacuzzi and a fireplace for campfires. 'Night' is an impressive space with eucalyptus trees growing in the indoor courtyard. The spa room and lounge face each other, with the trees receiving sunlight through the skylight. Each space features millstone glass installations, allowing you to experience both openness and coziness as you open and close the doors.
