    As you enter the wooden gate along the exterior fence, designed to fit in with the surrounding walls of the Hanok around the alley, you will find an elegant Korean-style yard with a Lagerstroemia planted inside. Be sure to listen to the sounds coming into the yard from the outside alley.
    • The adress of Hanok-essay-seochon is [12, Pirundae-ro 3-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul]. As Seochon enforces priority parking rea for residents, parking for visitors will be difficult. If possible, please use public transportation when traveling to Hanok Essay. If you do choose to bring a car, you will need to check the availability of parking, so please leave a text message on the parking status by the morning of the check-in day. Please note that depending on the situation, you may need to use the nearby Shinkyo public parking lot (charged).
    When searching for Hanok Essay Seochon in a map application, the directions will direct you to the back of the hanok. We recommend that you search for [9 Pirun-daero 3-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul] and come to [12 Pirun-daero 3-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul] on arrival. It takes about 5 minutes on foot from Gyeongbokgung Station.

    • Weekend fee is applied on the day before and the actual day of holiday, Chuseok, and New Years.
    • Standard and maximum occupancy is 2 people (including infants and children).
    • Children from age 2 to 12 can enter only when accompanied by an adult.

    • Reservation can be made up to 180 days after today and each time midnight passes, +1 day will be automatically added.(Based on Korean time)

    • You can reserve maximum of 5 nights according to Hanok Essay Seochon policy.

    HAND OVER STAY VOUCHER
    • Resale, hand-over, transfer, or exchange of stay vouchers is prohibited.

    THINGS TO KNOW
    • No smoking in all areas of the property. Special cleaning fee is charged in case of violation.
    • Usage of flammable items is strictly prohibited.
    • Compensation fee will be charged in case of loss or damage to beddings or equipment.
    • To protect the environment, disposable items are not provided so please bring your own personal hygiene items.
    • Commercial photography and video shooting without prior agreement are not allowed.
    • Please contact us in advance for commercial rental filming.
    • The property is in a residential area so please refrain from making loud noises during late hours.
    • Cooking is not allowed, but microwave and cutlery to have simple meals are provided.
    • Disinfection service is carried out regularly but bugs and insects may still come in due the natural surrounding of the area. Refund is not possible for these reasons.
    CLEANING SERVICE
    • Cleaning service is provided when staying over 3 consecutive nights.
    • Cleaning service is not provided when staying less than 2 consecutive nights.
    CCTV
    • CCTVs are installed (outside / towards the yard) for the guests' safety.
    PARKING
    • Parking space is available.
    • If you select parking option, We will check whether parking is available in your 6pm the day before reserved date.
    OTHERS
    • Towel and amenity are provided during check-in.
    INDOOR TUB
    • Indoor tub is available anytime.
    • Usage of bath products that may cause damage is prohibited, and compensation fee may be charged in case of violation.
