Hoshinoya Taketomi Island is a place that was built as another village on the island of Taketomi. These houses have been faithfully inheriting the standards of traditional/regional architecture, to the extent that the islanders who visit the island are pleasantly surprised. For example, in the belief that a cool breeze from the sea brings good luck, all rooms incorporated large open windows on the south side. There are 4 types of rooms: Zuki, which is ideal for a family stay. Gajoni, which features a modern and open bathtub. Kyangi, with Ryukyu Tatami (Okinawa traditional Tatami). Tonachi, is recommended for the elderly and children with its relaxed structure. Rest comfortably as if you were a resident of the island, surrendering to the island's slow pace. You can have an enjoyable travel experience that is not time-bound.

There is a shuttle service between Taketomi Port and Hoshinoya Taketomi Island from 14:15 upon arrival of the ferry.
- Ferry 
Please take the ferry from Ishigaki Port to Taketomi Port. Ferry must be reserved by individuals. The last ferry from Ishigaki Port to Taketomi Port leaves at 18:00 in summer and at 17:30 (Oct - Mar).
