Therapeutic thermal waters are just one of the many allures of our hot-spring resorts. Whether feasting on artistically-presented local delicacies or simply relaxing in a yukata robe with a fragrant cup of tea, you'll find yourself living more in the moment.
Stylish maritime memorabilia and antiques recall local lore about William Adams (1564-1620), the first Western samurai and an advisor to Tokugawa Ieyasu, for whom he built ships at nearby Ito port.
