It takes about 3 hours by car from Haneda International Airport, and about 5 minutes by taxi from Ito Station.

Ito Hot Spring is famous not only for the quantity of water it produces--one of the largest in Japan--but also for its rich mineral content, which is particularly beneficial for the skin. The hot spring feeds KAI Ito's public baths, includes a foot bath, and even the guestroom baths.

Resort Hoshino Kai's principle is to rediscover the region's charm and to provide a hot spring inn dedicated to peace. Itoshi, the location of Kai Ito is well-known as a historic hot spring village that has long been a favorite of writers. Ito Hot Springs is renowned for being beneficial to the skin, causing less irritation to the body, and producing a significant thermal effect. The most notable feature is the abundance of water, with approximately 34,000 liters of hot springs rising daily. This abundant source is available in Kai Ito's bath, open-air bath, foot bath, swimming pool, and rooms. You will enjoy the luxurious hot springs at the traditional and modern Japanese ryokan and forget about your hectic daily life for a few days in a space surrounded by mountains facing the sea and Ito's famous camellia flowers.

Kai Ito offers a variety of room types to accommodate any type of trip, from solo to family to group. There are simple Japanese-style rooms, Western-style rooms with bedrooms, and rooms with open-air baths where you can enjoy the natural hot springs at any time of day or night. Each room introduces traditional crafts and culture from the region, and the design is based on close observation of nature throughout the four seasons, with the design changing slightly according to the season. Through the large window, you can see the lovely Japanese garden, which creates an inviting atmosphere.
