도쿄에서 북쪽으로 약 200km 떨어져 있는 도치기현 기누가와 계곡과 맞닿은 언덕에 카이 기누가와가 있다. 푸른 자연과 단풍 등 사계절 풍경을 온전히 즐길 수 있는 정원을 품은 카이 기누가와에는 도치기 민예만의 따스함이 가득하다.


Kai Kinugawa is situated on a hill overlooking Kinugawa Valley in Tochi Prefecture, approximately 200 kilometers from Tokyo. Kai Kinugawa, which has a garden where you can fully enjoy the scenery of the four seasons such as green nature and autumn leaves, demonstrates the warmth of Tochigi folk art.


최대 세명까지 머무를 수 있는 리조트는 총 48개의 객실로 이루어져 있다. 객실은 도자기인 마시코야끼, 천 등을 염색한 민예품으로 모던하게 디자인되었다. 모든 객실은 숲이 바로 보이는 테라스가 있다. 전체 객실의 어메니티는 카이 브랜드 자체에서 제작한 천연 소재의 어메니티가 있다. 객실에 들어서는 순만 바로 사무에 옷으로 바로 갈아입고 웰컴 드링크를 마시며 카이의 여행을 시작해보자.


In total, there are 48 rooms in the resort, which can accommodate up to three people. A modern design is combined with folk art dyed with porcelain, mashikoyaki, cloth, etc. Each of the rooms has a balcony overlooking the forest. All amenities in the room are created by the Kai brand itself. Let's change right into Samue (The everyday work garment worn by a Japanese Buddhist monk) as soon as you enter the room and kick off Kai's trip with a welcome drink.

* About 20 local districts in Japan collect hotel accommodation tax for the purpose of promoting tourism. An accommodation tax of up to 1,000 JPY per person and night may be additionally charged upon check-in.
