It is located about 40 minutes by car from New Chitose Airport, and about a 10-minute walk from JR Shiraoi Station.

A hot spring where you can experience the essence of Ainu and Kotan inhabitants. 


You can enjoy bathing in hot springs in two bathtubs: a source-discharged "hot bath" based on "ketunni", an architectural feature of Ainu culture, and a "hot bath" that soothes the mind and body.

홋카이도의 식재료를 마음껏 즐길 수 있는 가이세키 요리(일본식 코스 요리)를 제공합니다. 
아이누 민족이 교역할 때 사용했던 통나무 배를 모티브로 한 선형의 그릇으로 제공하는 등 '카이 포로토'만의 연출도 즐겨보세요.

아이누 문화가 깃든 호수 앞 공간

일본에는 지금도 홋카이도를 중심으로 정착해 살던 “아이누(アイヌ)”라는 선주민이 있다. 일본의 주를 이루는 야마토 민족과는 다른 북방계의 민족으로, 역사적으로 개별적인 부족 국가 형태를 지녀왔다. "카이 포로토"는 아이누어로 '큰 호수'를 뜻하는 '포로토 호수'의 호숫가에 위치한다. 

In Japan, there are indigenous people called “Ainu” who have settled and lived mainly in Hokkaido. Descents of northern ancestry, different from the Yamato, which make up the main Japanese people, have historically had a separate tribal state. "Kai Poroto" is located on the lake shore of 'Lake Poroto', which means 'big lake' in Ainu. The entirety of Kai Poroto is "Kotan," a village of the Ainu people, and guests have the pleasure of living like a resident of "Kotan". Unique to this stay is the sincere respect for Ainu culture and coexistence with other people, and the design and lifestyle that incorporates the traditions of the Ainu culture. 아이누 민족이 사는 집 "치세(チセ)"를 이미지해서 만들어진 모든 객실에는 전통적인 치세의 네모난 "로(炉, 난로)"를 형상화한 테이블이 배치되어 있어 투숙객들이 "로"를 둘러싸고 단란했으면 하는 마음을 담고 있다. 또 아이누 민족의 생활에서 아이디어를 얻은 '목각의 올(木彫りのオール)' 등의 아트 작품이 있으며 벽지와 쿠션에는 아이누 문양을 입혔다. 그리고 실내에서는 잔잔한 포로토 호수와 자작나무, 단풍나무가 무성한 천연림을 전망할 수 있으며 실내에 마련된 자작나무 통나무와 어우러져 웅장한 자연에 녹아드는 듯한 느낌을 받을 수 있다. 총 3개의 특별실은 포로토 호수를 바라볼 수 있는 테라스와 노천탕이 있어 눈 앞에 펼쳐진 호수의 경치를 바라보며 느긋하게 휴식 시간을 즐길 수 있다.

All guest rooms were created in the image of the house of the Ainu people, "chise", and feature a table in the shape of the traditional square "ro." 
It is arranged so that the guests can easily be surrounded by "ro," instilling a sense of unity. In addition, there are artworks such as “wooden carvings,” inspired by the lives of the Ainu people, and Ainu patterns are applied to the wallpaper and cushions. From the inside, you can see the calm Lake Poroto and the natural forest lush with birch and maple trees, in complementary with the birch logs provided indoors, you can feel in harmony with the majestic nature. All three special rooms have a terrace and an open-air bath allowing you to enjoy quality relaxation comfortably.

- 객실은 임의 배정됩니다. 특정 객실 지정은 불가능합니다.
- 5개 이상의 룸 예약은 단체예약으로 간주하며 금액이 달라질 수 있습니다.
- 침구나 비품, 시설 등에 심각한 오염, 파손 및 분실이 발생한 경우 변상비가 청구됩니다.
