Kaisenishihara offers a library space and an atelier with art supplies and brushes at the ready, 
with a variety of sensational devices, including actual artist tools and 
artworks depicting the nature of Sengishihara using the sides of the campus.

The bath halls are pumped with milky white waters, abundant in antibacterial qualities, from the Owakudani volcanic valley. 
Each hall has two indoor baths, one hot and one just above body temperature, 
as well as an outdoor bath with a view of the surrounding forests and a water garden of luminescent stones.

Kanagawa Prefecture, located about 88 kilometers south of Tokyo, is famous for its villas and many art galleries and museums. KAI Sengokuhara was built in accordance with the Atelier concept, and its surroundings have been designed to stimulate creative thinking. It is an ideal resort for those who wish to take advantage of both hot springs and art.

Each room has an open-air bath that overlooks the beautiful scenery. It has very special rooms in which works of art were painted by artists who actually stayed. Each of the rooms is designed to make artworks stand out more clearly and simply. Also, the lounge features artwork hung on the walls as well as a view of the four seasons. Spend some time in an open-air bath in a room with magnificent natural surroundings, and let the sounds of the outdoors heal you.
