Nuwa is a small house located in Nuha-dong, Seocheon, a village in west of Gyeongbokgung Palace. The hidden Hanok, which is about 10 square meters long, is built as a place for a calm isolation from everyday life. Nuwa suggests 'wou(와유)' as another way to love and enjoy the arts.
To literally lie down and look at a book or a picture, the house’s 'wou(와유)' will make those who stay be able to feel the air inside the house and look out at the garden with a cup of tea and a book. We carefully prepared tools for tea ceremonies on the low table with the traditional lifestyle, and open the bathtub that runs smoothly with the floor on the side, allows you to fully immerse in. It's not a typical house, so it may be a bit of a change, but we hope you can feel the time slowing down when you are here.
Tea from the Sarubian tea shop as well as a coffee drip bag from Bean Brothers are available to enhance the leisurely time you have while staying. Spend some time alone or with a precious person.
Nuwa has a private bathtub that resembles the nature of Mt. Inwang, in Seocheon. Surrounded by low plants, you will slowly relax and have a soothing time.
Comfortable clothes are available to help your body and mind stay more relaxed during your stay in Nuwa. Take your time off from the inconvenience and rush of everyday life by changing into comfortable clothes.
