Discover your Taipei starting from the historical house

It was an imperial envoy’s house in Qing dynasty, and then reconstructed to a brick, westernized building in 1931 by the Banqiao Lin family.  Now it is declared by Taipei City Government as Cultural Heritage, and the interior design was exquisite and of great value for architecture history.

It is a café full of music. It is also an exhibition room for well-selected handicrafts. Together, all these artifacts shape a distinctive and elegant taste in here.
We also hold activities for all kinds of topics here, make it a place for people to mingle and connect.

OrigInn Spaceは[No. 247, Nanjing W. Road, Datong District , 10343 Taipei, Taiwan]にあります。

ベイマン駅(グリーンライン)で降りてください。 3番出口を出て、ダダオチョン通りをディファ通り方向に進んでください。
三番目の信号(そして徒歩約6分)を過ぎると左側にOrigInnが見えます。

台北の昔の空間と現代の出会い

ここは本来、清の家門の居住地として使われ、台湾の5代が家門の一つであるBanqiaoのLin家に属していた。この建物は後に台北市政府文化局によって2008年に文化財に登録された。この建築物は西洋式レンガ建築物で美しく装飾されており、建築史的に重要な価値を持っている。

歴史

音楽がいっぱいのカフェです。また、厳選された手工芸品を展示する空間でもあります。これらすべての工芸品は、独特でエレガントな味を生み出します。

이곳은 원래 청나라 가문의 거주지로 사용되었으며, 대만의 다섯 대가 가문 중 하나인 반교(Banqiao)의 린(Lin)가문에 속해 있었다. 이 건물은 후에 타이페이 시 정부 문화국에 의해 2008년에 문화재로 등재되었다. 이 건축물은 서양식 벽돌 건축물로 아름답게 장식되어 있으며, 건축사적으로 중요한 가치를 가지고 있다.

오리진 스페이스(OrigInn Space)타이페이의 경제와 문화 발전의 초기 중심지인 "다다오청" 지역에 위치해 있다. 이곳에는 오래된 건물들이 고대와 현대의 문화가 조화롭게 공존하는 풍부한 역사적 건축물들이 있다. 다다오청은 타이페이의 다른 지역과는 다른 생활양식을 개발하여 고유한 라이프스타일을 형성하였다. 이곳은 원래 청나라 가문의 거주지로 사용되었으며, 대만의 다섯 대가 가문 중 하나인 반교(Banqiao)의 린(Lin)가문에 속해 있었다. 이 건물은 후에 타이페이 시 정부 문화국에 의해 2008년에 문화재로 등재되었다. 이 건축물은 서양식 벽돌 건축물로 아름답게 장식되어 있으며, 건축사적으로 중요한 가치를 가지고 있다.

OrigInn Space is located in the "Dadaocheng" area, the earliest center of Taipei's economic and cultural development, with a rich collection of historical buildings where old and new cultures coexist harmoniously, developing a lifestyle different from other areas of Taipei. The site was originally the residence of a high-ranking Qing Dynasty official and was built and once belonged by the Lin family of Banqiao, one of Taiwan's five major families. It was later registered as a municipal historic building by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Taipei City Government in 2008. The architecture, which features a Western-style brick construction, is beautifully decorated and holds significant value in the history of architecture.

As the building is a designated historical structure, the windows in the rooms are handmade wooden windows following traditional craftsmanship. Therefore, we kindly ask guests to lower the volume after 10pm to avoid any disturbance. 
Soft foam disposable earplugs are provided in the rooms. If you are sensitive to noise, please consider this before making a reservation.

There is no elevator installed within the historical building.

The scent of Cypress will be the first sensation you feel when opening the door.  That comes from the 6-meter, slanted ceiling.

A classic design centers the room – the 1953 royal-blue Danish Modern Daybed by Hans Wegner.  It can be pulled out to become a single bed, so this room may easily accommodate three people.

Sink into this big couch and listen to the upbeat music from 70’s Grundig spherical speakers.  Just gaze the sunlight shining on the wool carpet and let the afternoon pass by.

“Do nothing” is what our guests do most in this room.

ハンス·ベグナーが1953年に製作した王室の青いデンマーク現代式ベッドは古典的なデザインで部屋の中心に位置しています。シングルベッドで分離できるので、この部屋は3人で簡単に入ることができます。

이 큰 소파에 앉아서 70년대 그룬디그 구형 스피커의 경쾌한 음악을 들어보세요.  양모 카펫에 비치는 햇빛을 바라보면서 오후를 지나가도록 하세요. "아무것도 하지 마세요"는 우리 손님들이 이 방에서 가장 많이 하는 것입니다.

This is the quietest room in our place. 
 
Individual bathroom within the room, you own a large all-handmade Terrazzo bathtub.  Although it doesn't have an external window, the 6-meter Cypress ceiling gives you an airy, cozy space and the relaxing scent of wood.  Whether it's gentle jazz or lively country folk songs, they are played through a vintage wooden speaker from the 1960s, adding a unique charm to the ambiance.
 
Take a warm bath in this tranquil space and have a good night sleep.  Enjoy your undisturbed, slow-paced life in Taipei.

This small yet lovely double room is the favorite of many lone travelers.

Just like the old days, you can hear the sound of the crowd and traffic from the street.  But while the crowd remain, rickshaws are long gone.  Sifted through the old window, the light waltzes in with ease.  Pulling down the wood shutter, you find yourself a paradise of contemplation at this cozy orange corner.

Closing your eyes gently and listening to One for Helen from the vinyl record player, you are brought back to Bill Evans’ concert at Montreux Jazz Festival in 1968.  Sinking into the comfortable orange armchair and reading one of Shu Guozhi’s books, you embark on a journey through the once-existent water city of Taipei.

As the day comes to the end, you are still alone, leisurely and at ease.

小さいながらも愛らしいこのダブルルームは、多くの一人で旅行する人々が最も好きな部屋です。共同トイレとシャワーはテラスにあり、客室から歩いて5秒の距離にあります。

Yoko Sueyoshi, an artist from Tokyo, was the first guest to stay in this room and has become a friend who returns every year for reunion.

Two large windows inviting great sunlight in, that’s the reason Yoko adores this room.  An old desk with hand-made board, a rusty pipe chair.  This duo has supported Yoko to produce so many heart touching paintings.  Such sentimental, she transformed her deep affections for the house into her works.

Look at her soothing paintings, with the gentle music flowing through the room.  A night in Taipei never been warmer.

Despite the absence of windows, the creative arrangement of lighting and color scheme still brings vibrancy to the space.

Taking inspiration from the space age, warm hues dominate every corner of the room. Geometric patterns adorn the walls, the iconic starburst coat rack by legendary designer Charles Eames, and a UFO-shaped floor lamp illuminates the space. You lounge on the irregular-shaped thick wool carpet, listening to Gatz & Gilberto's Bossa Nova, and your mood becomes lively and joyful.
