The old past of Rocket House started around 6.25 war as a small hardware store of the owner of the building. We recreated this building, losing the original shape by countless paintings and tiles, into Rocket House. Being curious about the original appearance of a building built in the Japanese colonial style, we tried to redefine the real appearance of the building regarded to memories of the elderly in the neighborhood. Redefining the original appearance of the building that no one has evered realized, we always wanted to ask people who will visit here in the future. "What is your story?"
Rocket House is consisted of three rooms in total. Penthouse, perfect of a family or two families, with a big table and window where the sun shines, Residence with air latron ceiling fan and modernized interior, and Roft for a single tourist with the view of Yongdu Mountain. Not only these places are beautiful and comfortable, but also lead guests to delicious restaurants. The market street where the protagonists of the movie <Friends> were dressed in school uniforms, the 'flowers' shop where the main character's family evacuated from the movie <International Market>, and the first department store in Busan where the characters of a movie <The Thieves> ran and chased each other for diamonds. Guests can feel special moments that can only be felt in the original downtown of Busan.
Nampo-dong, where the rocket house is located, is the center of the food and drink tour where Busan's three major markets, International Market, Bupyeong Can Market, and Jagalchi Market are gathered. Enjoy the rich dishes, with a long history and Busan's tradition, made by those who have been there for years. We offer a specially selected list of restaurants from a host's perspective.
This space is a historic structure built decades ago with sturdy wood and solid red bricks. Find another exotic full house by entering the building that retains the traces of time. Benjamin Moore's eco-friendly paint, natural wood wardrobe, and Yoon Hyun-jae's sensuous tiles and terracotta brick space create a unique feeling and interior with Artemide and Verpan's soft lighting.
