"ROUNDARY" is a compound word combining "round" and "boundary," symbolizing a "round fence." When the host envisioned Jeju, they depicted high stone walls and low roofs designed to withstand the wind. The goal was to capture Jeju's unique appearance, unseen in other regions, within the space.
"ROUNDARY" consists of two similar buildings, naturally arranged with reversed planes and three-dimensional exterior spaces within the round fence, enriching the stay experience. The irregular round fence blocks external noise and views, providing a personal space with only landscape and sky visible. The interior space is finished with a warm tone contrasting the rough concrete outside. Sit on the indoor platform connected to the kitchen, enjoy coffee or tea while gazing outside. The bedroom, with its smooth curved walls, is minimalistic. It's delightful to step onto the terrace and enjoy the fresh air. The impressive bathroom features an open bath, perfect for relaxation. In the evening, venture to the BBQ area connected to the kitchen. Camping equipment awaits, allowing a private camping atmosphere while grilling meat outdoors.
