slow house, a renovated old mansion built in the 1970s, is newly adjusted with modern materials, furniture and props added to the traditional space. We hope that you can fully relax and heal your tired mind from everyday life.
'Hasla', the Korean word for sun and light, is the old name used to call the Gangneung area of Gangwon-do during the Goguryeo period. I tried to convey the name and meaning as it is. It is a space where heartfelt touch remain by considering the gaze outside the window, the rustling of the bedding, and the illumination suitable for relaxation. I hope all time in Hasla Stay, doing what you couldn’t do in daily lives, doing what you wanted to do, or doing nothing, could be a little comfort for you.

It is a space of white and wooden interiors, where you can comfort your tired mind. We prepared it so that you can enjoy a complete rest. Fully relax with a turntable, beam projector, and a comfortable bedding.

We offer Terarosa’s drip bag coffee and seasonal flower petal tea. At a large table in the kitchen, sit on the deck with warm sunshine, fresh wind, and enjoy a pleasant feast in the secret attic.

It is located in a quiet village in Gyodong, Gangneung. It takes 10 minutes to walk from Gangneung Terminal, so people who travel via public transportation can come conveniently. Visit nearby cafes and gift shops that capture the atmosphere of Gyodong.
