In Seoul's Jongno, just a little down from Changdeokgung Palace, there is a tranquil alley where "Stay Moire" resides. "Moire" is a shortened expression of "moinda," meaning "some day." Hoping to be a place where people can gather with loved ones and create lasting memories on any given day, it was named "Stay Moire."
Upon passing through the entrance embraced by bamboo, a small courtyard appears. Stay Moire consists of a main building and an annex. The main building features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a dining room, while the annex has one bedroom and one bathroom. Unlike typical hanok houses, Stay Moire separates the dining and bedroom spaces, and each individual room has its own bathroom, making it ideal for private trips accommodating 2-3 families. The individual rooms are adorned in unified wood and white tones, providing a serene environment for relaxation. After enjoying personal time, the dining room becomes a vibrant space with red-toned floor tiles, perfect for gathering together. Utilizing beam projectors, you can watch movies or indulge in pleasant mealtime. It would also be delightful to unwind in the bathroom, complete with a stone tub, and use the provided bath salts to rejuvenate.
You can feel the four seasons while looking at the yard planted with moss and maple trees from the living room window and the entrance to each room.
The scent of fresh green leaves that go well with hanok fills the space.
On the spacious table in the living room, you can chat with the tea ceremony, coffee (drip bag) provided, and watch a movie with a beam project.
The location of STAY MOIRE is [ 19 Yulgok-ro 10-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul ].
