One of the classic Korean literature Chunhyangjeon has been widely popular for centuries for courage of the heroine who chose to be faithful to her lover despite class differences and outside challenges from the rigidness of social hierarchy in the ancient time of Korea. One of the popular parts is the scene in which the author graphically illustrated the young heroine Chunhyang being reminded of her lover that she had long been missing by a reflection of moon on a pond as she strolled around Gwanghanllu in Namwon, North Jeolla Province. And what could be similar to the heroine of the Korean classics, an elegant house with many years of history, “Stay Riun” is quietly waiting in one of the allyes nearby Gwanghanllu to welcome its guests.
