The host, traveling through Cape Town, South Africa, where public transportation is non-existent, noticed people hailing vibrant vans by shouting their destinations. Riders would flag down these vans, gaze out the window during the ride, and then call out “Thank you, Driver!” when they reached their stop. Even in the middle of the road, the van would stop, dropping off passengers exactly where they wanted. The host wanted "Thank You Driver Stay" to be a destination for 'rest' in our lives. Here, you can take as much rest as you want, whenever you want.

Nestled in a quiet hill in Josu-ri, Hankyeong-myeon, Jeju Island, "Thank You Driver Stay" is a triangular-roofed haven amidst the trees. The first floor consists of a terrace overlooking the village, a high-ceilinged living room and kitchen, two bedrooms, and a library. Following the wooden stairs up to the second floor, there's a jacuzzi where you can enjoy the views of Jeju Island's fields, along with a cozy mini-living room. The space focuses more on emptiness than fullness, making it the perfect place for ultimate relaxation. Anywhere in the Stay, you'll feel at ease. Take some time alone in the library, which was curated under the theme of 'rest' by local bookstores. As you quietly follow the lines of text, it feels as if your entangled thoughts are being sorted out. The jacuzzi, with its yellow and green tiles, radiates refreshing energy. It's also a great place to fully appreciate the nature of Jeju Island seen through the window.
