Taipei's renowned old town-Dadaocheng was the earliest commercial hub in the city, characterized by a blend of grocery stories, Chinese herbal products, fabric markets, traditional tea and elements of religious culture, creating an exclusive Dadaocheng old town atmosphere. The Door Inn, an independent four-story house, is transformed from an old building and under the hand of owner Pei, who has a background in interior design, it has become a place full of plants with its own unique vibe. With a wish to leave travelers the memory of the wonderful local scenery outside the stay, Pei set up The Door Inn as a minimalist space, removing all overpowering decorations and only essential design reserved.
