A Cultural Complex in Jeju Embracing the Heart of a Yak

Yak-ma-eul is a space designed with an emphasis on harmony and communication with the surrounding environment, which is in keeping with the nature of Jeju. A yak is an animal that is associated with the rugged hills of the Himalayas. To provide warmth, they carry heavy loads or fur. In the same way as this "yak," yak-ma-eul aims to instill energy of recovery in its guests by delivering new inspirations. As yak-ma-eul was developed by the outdoor brand "Black Yak," all of its elements, including plastic hangers, eco-friendly amenities, and uniforms made of recycled materials, adhere to the principles of eco-friendliness and sustainability. In the Welcome Center, which embraces the colors of Jeju, guests check-in to begin their comfortable stay. Guests are welcomed with a warm welcome tea, an explanation of the place, and a warm welcome.

There are three types of individual rooms available at Yak-ma-eul. Room amenities, such as an outdoor bathtub with a view of Hallasan Mountain, a private pool, and an individual garden, allow guests to relax completely while experiencing the unique atmosphere of Jeju. There is a wide window in each room, as well as an outdoor garden and terrace, which allows the outside environment to be fully enjoyed from within the room. It is a must-see point in Yak-ma-eul to see the sunset along with Hallasan Mountain at sunset. As a double duplex, each room has only the furniture necessary for rest, emphasizing comfort and security.
