A Space for Families, Hiding in the Village of Bukchon-ri
Bukchon Re:Member is founded in Bukchon-ri, where small houses are built along the low stonewall walkway, giving off the vibe of an old town. The stay that was constructed by fixing up a 57-year-old stone house was named Bukchon Re:Member for people to remember the time when they were family (members). It provides guests a moment to return to the old days in a both mature and comfortable space. Compared to any other dazzling locations, Bukchon Re:Member is a lighter place for the family to simply gather together. As you enter Bukchon Re:Member, it feels like visiting a country house from aged memories.
Bukchon Re:Member consists of three zones in the large land size of 314 ㎡. In the main building, you can spend a night with your family, embracing the atmosphere of an old stone house. Furthermore, there is an impressive kitchen with a generous table made of the stone wall in front of an open window, and an open-air bath that is just great for relaxing your day's fatigue. The main building, which can accommodate up to 6 people, is not divided into bedrooms so that the family can stay together and make memories in one space. Moreover, in the main building, there is Daecheongmaru in front of the living room with a unique sense of interior that is separated from another area by a free-standing wall to offer a one-of-a-kind experience.
There are no famous tourist spots around Bukchon Re:Member. Only the quiet town and the seascape spread out. Bukchon Re:Member asks guests to focus solely on the hours spent with their family. Its garden unfolds right in front of their eyes without demanding them to travel far outside, allowing peace of mind for the family to sit together and talk. If you're going on a trip to Jeju Island, how about spending some minutes concentrating on family members who've been with you for the previous decades instead of looking for something new?
