Onpyeong-ri, located between Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak and Seopjikoji Temple in the east of Jeju, is named for its tranquility and peacefulness. Comfy House is located in Honinji Village, Onpyeong-ri, believed to host a joint wedding for Jeju Island’s founder three gods and three princesses. Comfy House is like a house that was made comfortable for travelers who are looking for a quiet rest away from their hectic lives. A morning with Comfy House begins with the warm sunlight rising above the horizon at the end of a 9,917.4-㎡ buckwheat field farm.

One group can have the house to themselves for a day. It has three beds and two bathrooms, which is perfect for two families. In the white and gray background, wooden furniture, plants and eco-friendly fabrics make a cozy and natural look. When you open the front door and enter the house, first thing you will see is a spacious kitchen, dining room and living room open wide below the second floor of the house. Two large windows frame the buckwheat field in the living room, so it is not stuffy even inside the house. If you go up to the second floor, there is a small living room between the two bedrooms where you can read and relax, and when you go out to the terrace through the bedroom, you will be captivated by the scenery as if the vast earth, the sky, and the sea touch one another. On the outside deck on the first floor, there is a space where you can spend time looking at the widely stretched farm, and on the side, there is a swimming pool where you can enjoy privately with your family.

Comfy House is a house designed and created by a son who majored in Architecture for his parents who moved to Jeju Island after retirement. Every corner of the house, from the finish materials to furniture, bathroom and kitchen, represents his dedication because it was initially made for his parents. The care and effort he put into makes this place more comfortable and cozier for any type of guest: families, couples, friends, etc. If you want to spend a relaxing time looking at the green nature in a quiet place, Comfy House will be the place.
