Curating a long-term lifestyle exhibition within hotel space.
Jiaoxi, located in the northern tip of Yilan, was born with hot springs and has experienced prosperity and decline over the past 90 years. Even with the large number of tourists, there are still many unexplored aspects of this small town that are worth savoring and experiencing. Hostel Tomato has been transformed into a youth hostel emphasizing on aesthetic experience by the second-generation owner. Hostel Tomato is named after Jiaoxi's famous fruit, hot-spring tomatoes, to convey the owner's love for his hometown. The growing process of crops is greatly influenced by the local terroir. When you eat the food, you will taste the four seasons of sunshine. Hoping that travelers can also taste the local customs and way of life after staying in the hostel.

Hostel Tomato is located in front of Jiaoxi Railway Station, just a minute's walk away. Unlike other luxury hot springs hotels, it is simple and warm but not rough. From the comfortable and bright rooms to the well-functioning communal kitchen, the interactive space on the first floor where art and design activities and international cultural exhibitions are held from time to time, and even the open-air hot springs on the top floor with an excellent view. The hostel uses the natural sodium bicarbonate springs of the local specialties in the whole hotel, wishing to heal each weary body.

A night at Hostel Tomato is not just about resting your feet and waiting for tomorrow's departure. The excellent location which next to the mountains and the sea is relaxing. The friendly residents and adorable stores in the alleys and lanes which is quite suitable for having a slow walk. The goodness of this place is as if you have tasted the sweetness of a hot spring tomato once, and you will always remember the taste. Looking forward to your visit!
