Capturing Today’s Jeju Sea
Guideok Port is a place you can feel the deep blue Jeju ocean as it is. The orange glow of the setting sun engulfs the village here, as if the whole world has turned red. The flickering lights of the lighthouse and boats, dotted right above the horizon, are just like the stars. Malona Stay, located close to the beach, shows this Jeju’s ocean without any filters.

The widely stretching ocean will seize your sight as soon as you open the main gate from the house. To let you have enough ocean experience, both units of the house are next to each other, facing the sea. The consistent wood tone interior is like bringing nature inside the house. Furthermore, mingled with the ocean view, it presents a unique space experience. There is a dining area in one of the units and the other unit across the yard has a “resting space” like a bedroom and bathroom, assuring full relaxation. The front yard has a large deck equipped with a small functional kitchen and a pool where you can enjoy a variety of activities with a view of the sea.

The host’s wish for guests to mentally and physically shed some burden of their lives is reflected in the stay. The space is private, open to only one group of guests per day. Malona Coffee right next door offers a coffee drip bag with freshly roasted coffee beans. Having a hot cup of coffee in the dining room while watching the sunset will be a memory to keep. Staying at Malona Stay is like a gift. I hope staying here can take pressure and concerns off of your shoulders.
