A Romantic Time Spent amidst Tangerine Trees.
Communication is easily done today via texting and phone calls. In spite of that, there is something special about writing a letter late at night, and thinking about those you love. It was opened in Namwon-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do, the "Night Letter", which is flavored with a little inconvenience and warmth rather than easy conveniences. While traveling through Jeju, the host of the Night Letter felt most Jeju-like in Sinheung-ri, the current location of the Night Letter. The host opened the space in order to share the feeling of comfort and warmth he felt during his travels.
Night letter has a main house, annex, and a detached house, each a separate and independent space. Outside of the annex there is a front yard and a backyard, and on the inside is a living room, a kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. The main house has a front yard outside, as well as a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. There also is a charming outdoor dining table where guests can enjoy a quiet moment, enjoying a warm beverage, while surrounded by tangerine trees. Outside the detached house there is a terrace, and on the inside is a living room, kitchen, a bedroom, a powder room, and a bathroom. All rooms have high floors, creating an open space, and the living room provides a view of natural scenery that changes as the season changes. Separate bedrooms allow you to rest more comfortably, and there also is a kitchen where you can observe nature through the window and cook simple food.
When you have rested sufficiently in the Night Letter with its warm light, why not take a brief stroll around the village near the Night Letter? In the village, you can take a long walk along the Olle 4 course or take a drive along the coast while watching the sunset. I invite you to spend the day in a quiet rural village in Jeju, immersed in nature and at a slow pace.
