OrigInn Space is located in the "Dadaocheng" area, the earliest center of Taipei's economic and cultural development, with a rich collection of historical buildings where old and new cultures coexist harmoniously, developing a lifestyle different from other areas of Taipei. The site was originally the residence of a high-ranking Qing Dynasty official and was built and once belonged by the Lin family of Banqiao, one of Taiwan's five major families. It was later registered as a municipal historic building by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Taipei City Government in 2008. The architecture, which features a Western-style brick construction, is beautifully decorated and holds significant value in the history of architecture.

On the bustling Dihua Street, where commercial activities thrive, the ground floor of buildings is typically used as shops, while the upper floors serve as the living quarters of the shop owners. OrigInn Space continues this traditional lifestyle and define it with a sense of "home," striving to preserve its original character as much as possible. Currently, the ground floor houses a select shop and a café, occasionally hosting various collaborative events. The second and third floors feature vintage-style guest rooms, replacing modern multimedia facilities with books and vinyl record players.

In the imagination of OrigInn Space, people play a c significant role. To become a "home," it takes more than just a beautiful facade. Every traveler who comes to this place is treated like a friend. People become friends naturally without any intention. Gradually, they develop a sense of "coming home," allowing travelers from around the world to immerse themselves in the ambiance of a bygone era and feel the unique atmosphere of Dadaocheng in those days.
