For those of you looking for a place to have a breather, “stayd” in Goseong, Gangwon Province could be on top of the list. “stayd,” standing quietly in a coastal village by East Sea of Korea, is a place where you can recharge yourself with fresh energy. The letter “d” in the name, for your information, hints at an initial letter of the loved ones for the host, as well as a Korean wordd for East Sea, Donghae. The host thoughtfully designed every corner of the place to serve guests with atmosphere and air that the host felt upon visiting the seaside to retrieve calmness.

The three-story building invites guests into panoramic ocean view from all corners. The first floor is filled with a small kitchen, a dining space, and a rest room, while the second floor welcomes guests into a bedroom in warm and cozy brown colorways with a large window opening to the ocean. The color palettes of green, scarlet, and yellow color palettes spice up the mood in the space. And a beam projector is installed inside so that guests may watch movies from the bed. The roof top is designed for guests to get immersed in panoramic views of East Sea. And a barbeque grill and tools are nicely prepared to cook out for savory dinner time. Indeed, you may start your day with beautiful sunrise and finish the day, watching picturesque sunset.

Quite unlike popular tourist destination in Goseong area, the beach in front of the stay is only a few walks away and remains quiet that you may think about having a picnic and spend some quality time with your loved ones, basking in the sun, sharing delicious food, and having a swim in the sea. Taking a step back from everyday hustles, you may listen closely to your heart.
