In western sea of Jeju, there is a cozy stone house that blocks the cold wind and rough waves for a long time. ‘Anok’ was created with inspiration from ‘Anokhada’, a Jeju dialect meaning that it has a comfortable and quiet feeling as if it is wrapped in a warm feelings. We tried to express the simplicity and warmth of Jeju stone house while maximizing the texture and feeling of the originality. We tried to preserve the original texture by using the existing stone walls, rafters, and authentic Jeju materials. The layout of the earthen wall using ocher, the lounge from authentic materials, and the bathtub made of natural stone well expresses these characteristics.
Time spent in Anok will be filled with stone, water, fire and scent. Soothe tiredness in the sauna, and the robes and towels designed exclusively for Anok provide a comfortable experience after bath. The ethanol brazier provided inside delivers the comfort and warmth of fire that cannot be enjoyed in the city, and the sound of the turntable creates happy memories with people who have traveled together. And the scent of Gran Hand's Lumberjack, a healthy herbal bath, and the scent of specialty coffee beans that go well with the space further maximize your experience at the stay. We hope that you will experience the rustic but simple and warm ‘anok’ in Jeju.
The spa building has an indoor bathtub made of natural stone along with the bedroom. Relieve your fatigue while looking at the outside yard through the window in front of the bathtub.
Between the two stone houses, there is a private garden. Enjoy uninterrupted rest in a secluded garden.
The original shape of Jeju stone house was kept almost untouched. Feel the ruggedness, simplicity, and warmth of the stones surrounding the stay.
