Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, Geyongju is a place where a 1000 years and the story that surrounds it co-exoists. Jjok sam jip is 10 ~ 15 minute walk from World Heritage Site Daereungwon and National Treasure Cheomseongdae, and embraces the scent of the 1000 years. The name 'Jjok sam' was given for its indigo color, it was created in Goryeo Dynasty and slowly became the habitat for Gyeongju residents. The host who lived in Gyeongju changed his wood hanok house into 'Jjok sam jip'.
