Muwolgwan has opened in Anguk-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, between Bukchon Hanok Village and Insadong. It is located next to the ruins of Andong Byeolgung Palace, which was used for royal events during the Joseon Dynasty. It was designed to create a special day with family and friends in a tranquil hanok, where they could relax and unwind.
The traditional hanok building has been reinterpreted in a modern way and consists of two rooms and a bathroom, as well as a living room, kitchen, yard, and outbuilding space. With the exception of the bedroom, all the rooms are connected without walls or doors, and the interior space is connected to the outdoors through the front windows. The jacuzzi area is located in an outbuilding.
It is easily accessible to Bukchon Hanok Village, Insadong, and Anguk Station.
The traditional old hanok has been reimagined with a modern twist, giving you the convenience of a hanok while feeling the spirit of the place.
