Just like its name, Namu Hotel naturally becomes a part of city scenery in the eternal flow of time as if it was always there. Unlike city time that passes hastily, the time of Namu Hotel flows slowly like it paused for a while.
Namu Hotel is a building with unique distinctive design that received Architects Association Award. The restless front side of the road i simply composed as a mass, and the rear facing the alley is finely constructed with a small volume. The main entrance is not located near the road to induce entry through the alley. 나무호텔의 진입로는 복잡한 거리에서 벗어나 새로운 분리된 공간으로 가는 짧은 여정입니다. As you follow the stone, water, light, and sound, densely designed natural materials guides visitors to a warm space that is not burdensome.
