Stay ONJUNG

A space that captures the beauty of nature's harmony and the scenery of the sky

In Namwon City, Jeollabuk-do, there exists a tranquil hanok (traditional Korean house) embodying the serene lines of nature and the vistas of the blue sky. The host of 'Stay Onjung' strived to create a stay that offers warmth to everyone occupying the space. Inspired by the structure of old hanok, this place is divided into three independent units: the main house (Anchae), the detached house (Byeolchae), and the "Sarangchae". Although their shapes slightly differ, their purpose as spaces for peaceful rest is all the same.

All three individual units consist of a yard, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and indoor Jacuzzi area. Windows overlooking the yard are all floor-to-ceiling glass, allowing warm sunlight to permeate the space. Take a moment to sit on the wooden deck and gaze at the passing clouds. It might also be pleasant to enjoy a conversation with companions while savoring the carefully selected coffee drip bags and herbal tea provided by the host. High-quality speakers are set up in the indoor Jacuzzi area. Immersing oneself in the warm water and listening to music feels like a detoxifying experience. The largest of the three, the Anchae, comes with an outdoor water area and a spacious wooden deck. It's recommended to meditate lightly or practice yoga while listening to the sound of flowing water.
