What is the ideal relaxation? Mountains and seas, cities and civilizations, places and seasons change, but books are always in the hands of those who are fond of relaxing time. Perhaps true relaxation is not in a change of place or environment, but in the moment when thoughts change and expand. We are dedicated to creating a private and beautiful 'library' that allows you to immerse yourself in the world of books. The Chae: Library was born with a Korean feel.
The wall of the study area, the core of the stay, is filled with books and bookshelves. In the lounge, there are chairs placed in the middle of the 'ㄷ' shaped area. After reading your favorite book, you can put down your thoughts in a diary, enjoy a spa while listening to music, or enjoy a fire pit while watching the fire in the fireplace. Unlike the colorful public spaces, the rooms are simple and minimalistic.

    We have a selection of high-quality books selected by our curators. Books are updated frequently and we also receive book recommendations from guests. We aim to be a participatory library that edits the poems and lines you have written and makes it into a single book.

    Wood furniture and props are the only work in the world produced by Studio Air. All furniture, including doors, bookshelves, desks and chairs, was shaped like a tile to maximize the beauty of curves. Feel the beauty and luxury of the most Korean curves, colors, and materials.

    • January, July, August and December are peak seasons.

    HAND OVER STAY VOUCHER
    • Resale, hand-over, transfer, or exchange of stay vouchers is prohibited.
    RESERVATION INFORMATION
    • After making a reservation, a confirmation message will be sent when payment is completed according to the payment method.
    • If the reservation is not possible, the refund will be processed after cancellation.
    • If the 'reservation application' is duplicated, the reservation will be confirmed in the order of application, not in the order of payment.
    • If payment is not made within 12 hours of payment by bank transfer, the reservation will be automatically canceled.
    • Cash receipts can be issued when payment is made through a bank transfer. Please apply at the time of reservation.
    CANCELATION NOTICE
    • Submitting a reservation request means that you have read and agree to all of the above.
    • If you cancel on the day of payment, the same refund policy applies once the booking is confirmed. Please check your travel dates carefully before booking.
    • If you wish to cancel your reservation, please log in and click the [Reservation Cancellation Request] button in the reservation information.
    • Please check the refund policy of the stay before requesting cancellation, and the refund policy will be applied based on the date of the cancellation request.

    GUIDELINES
    • You will receive an email/text message with the check-in instructions on the morning of your arrival date.
    • Please respect the check-out time for room cleaning.
    • Exceeding the maximum occupancy is prohibited.
    • Only guests listed on the reservation can enter the property.
    • Usage of flammable items is strictly prohibited in all areas of the property.
    • Please refrain from cooking any food with strong odors or smoke inside of the property.
    • Compensation fee will be charged in case of loss or damage to bedding, equipment, facilities etc.
    • To reduce waste, we do not provide toothbrushes and toiletries. Please bring your own.
    • Do not attach balloons or tape to the walls of the hanok for events, and do not use props with glitter.
    • Please use amenities only inside the stay and do not take them.
    • Please wash and organize used cooking utensils and tableware.
    • Please always remain vigilant to prevent safety accidents in the stay.
    • Commercial photos and videos that have not been agreed upon (including commercials, product photos, shopping malls, and social media markets) and drone photography are not allowed.
    • Please contact us in advance for commercial rental filming.
    • The property is in a residential area so please refrain from making loud noises during late hours.
