Hamdeok, a friendly wind-swept village along an emerald-colored sea, is a village in Jeju known to many people. On the side of Hamdeok Village, there is a stone house that perfectly embodies the old spirit of Jeju.
When we first "met" this house, we wanted everyone to come and see it as the deepest, most intimate heart of Jeju. We wanted to communicate the warmth of Jeju, which can embrace the tired body and mind. Tranquil bathtubs that heal the mind and cozy bedrooms that open out to the garden. Come and stay. Communicate the warmth of Jeju. WAON.
Warmth. The word that encompasses WAON is warmth. The warmth of the old memories, of things, and the traces of houses that are preserved in time. Enjoy the warmth of your home in Comfort House, which is filled with warmth and relaxation.
A cup of calm tea, hot baths that warm all over the body, and sauna that warms up your breathing. We hope you enjoy a time when your mind is getting tired.
You can enjoy Jeju’s hospitality in Daemoon-chae, which is the first time you face a WAON. The Greeting House, which retains its ruggedness and the appearance of its old house, is as warm as a childhood, as a hand of a grandmother.
When you arrive at Jeju International Airport and search for ‘Hamdeok 5-gil 8-15’ on the navigation system, you will be directed to the entrance to the village, about 18 kilometers east of Jeju and about 30 minutes east of downtown Jeju. Follow the winding road a little deeper and deeper, and you’ll find WAON.
It's a narrow alley where it's hard to get into, so you can park in a public parking lot and walk a little bit to come here.
If you take a bus, take bus No. 326 from Jeju International Airport and get off at ‘Ocean Research Institute’ stop, and WAON is located about 5 minutes away.
