A Space Reminiscent of a House
The Namu Hotel has opened in the cityscape of Seoul. This is a space containing the host's heart that aims to be a haven away from the bustle and hustle of the city streets. Namu Hotel blends effortlessly into a cityscape as if it were always there in the flow of time, just as its name suggests. Unlike the hectic pace of the city, the time at the Namu Hotel seems to flow slowly, as if it had stopped for a moment.

It was intended that the Namu Hotel would be a room with a number of different structures depending on the circumstances. The hotel offers five types of rooms: Terrace One, Oriental Box, Square, Circle, and Under the light of the moon. There are different areas, structures, and furniture arrangements in every room, and most rooms have balconies that lead outside. As with a yard, this space has the comfort of abstracted nature. While being protected from the elements, you can enjoy the seasons, weather, sunlight, and wind. Let us take a bath outside in nature and experience deep relaxation.

Architects Association Award-winning Namu Hotel is a unique and distinctive design. The crowded front of the roadside was composed of a single mass, while the side facing the alley on the rear was composed of a smaller volume. There was no main entrance on the roadside, but an alleyway was provided for entry. It takes only a short distance from the busy streets to reach the new hotel's driveway. By following stones, water, light, and sound, densely designed natural materials direct visitors to a space where they will feel comfortable and not overburdened.
