The private rental house ‘Nasillonner’ is located in Cheongsu-ri, Jeju where the Halla Mountain, Dan Mountain, and other ranges stretch out in the distance. Overlooking the Cheongsugotjawal forest where fireflies live, Nasillonner purifies one’s mind with the calmness and clear vibe of the scenery. In French, Nasillonner means 'speaking secretly in a low voice’. Just like the meaning of nasillonner, which means 'talk secretly in a low voice' in French, our own unique space is completely spread out inside and outside the single-story concrete building.
Nasillonner has an L-shaped structure centered on the inner courtyard. There are two rooms on both ends, with a living room and kitchen in the middle. The first room has a queen-sized, low height bed, and a detached bath. Whereas the second room is a flexible area that can turn into either a bedroom or media room as needed. There is an open-air hinoki bath outside the window, where one can connect with the surrounding nature.
Nasillonner’s terrazzo was completed by continuing the design of the unique Jeju red volcanic stones from the fern garden in the courtyard to inside the building, creating the specialty of the house. The pergola makes a perfect place to read books peacefully, or to hold a barbecue party. Nasilloner will surely surpass your expectations.
