Wherever you are and whenever you leave, you may finally retrieve piece of mind when you recharge yourself with fresh energy and ideas and thus, expand your spectrum of thoughts and live the moment. The Chae: Library, against the background, has laid its focus on creating beautiful and private library spaces for guests to be surrounded by books, laced with unique elements that are found only in Korea.

As the name clearly hints at, the study was part of the passion project for the host in designing and building The Chae: Library that bookshelves and books are filling the walls from one corner to another. With the study being the pivot, the spa is placed on the right side, while the kitchen on the left. All of these spaces are designed to be independent yet connected with coherence to invite anyone to enjoy the moment in the stay. The lounge chair in the living room filled with books culminates the host’s intention to welcome guests into focusing inner selves with comfort. In addition, you will be pleased to uncover small yet splendid details such as corners inspired from curves of Korean traditional housing, hanok and pine trees that are visible over the windows.

In contrast to shared spaces sprinkled with eye-catching details, rooms are designed to be clean-cut and minimal. Moreover, the pine trees are visible from all rooms. This is from the careful consideration of the host that guests would not fall into an abyss of inner selves. After reading a few copies from the carefully selected biblio-collection of The Chae: Library, you may spend time exchanging your thoughts and ideas with your partner, keep your journal, enjoy spa, listening to music or idle away, gazing at fire at the fireplace. Or you may even watch a few movies playing out from the beam projector installed in the stay. And then deep in the night, you may finish your day with a warm cup of team, with the pine trees in the background over the folding doors opening widely to the outside.
