A well-earned rest for a tired body and mind
The legend goes that once upon a time, good things happened in the village of Hamdeok-ri in Jeju, where a grandmother named Ham did many virtuous deeds, and it has been known ever since as a neighborhood where virtuous people gather. From within the alleys of this village, the sea can be reached on foot in just a five-minute walk. The name can be translated in English as "Warm Home" and it is a space where warmth is infused through various elements into an old Jeju stone house. The breeze, filled with the scent of herbs as it passes through the trees and stones, and the warm water, heal the body and mind. Carefully prepared tea and aroma make the senses even more enjoyable.

As soon as you open the gate, a warm welcome awaits you at the adjacent Greeting House. Based on the Five Elements theory, you can choose the scent, taste of tea, and bath additive that you want to experience among the five different themes. The Garden, full of refreshing herbs, has Comfort House. The Comfort House is an open-plan accommodation space furnished with a bed, kitchen, living room, and bathroom, and is decorated in a calm wood tone that fits well with the old stone house's appearance. In the Therapy House, equipped with a large hot tub and dry sauna, you can relieve your fatigue with the tranquility of the water.

When I was younger, I was often fascinated by the often muttered expression by the older adults, "It's refreshing and good!". But as I grew older and began to really feel what it is like to accumulate tension and fatigue, I came to realize that just immersing my body in the water could make my body and mind quite relaxed. In that sense, WAON is a place that perfectly suits the meaning of "a staycation." If you decide to spend a day here, don't rush anything and just let your tired body and mind relax.
